On 5th July 2018, the Shree Manekchowk Gold & Silver Ornaments Association, in collaboration with the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), organized a BIS Hallmarking Awareness Camp for Jewellers. The camp aimed to educate jewellers about the importance of BIS hallmarking, quality certification, purity standards, and legal compliance in the gold and silver ornaments industry.
